Creation Debate

We’re excited to let you know about a special event we’ll be hosting at FBC Henryville.

On Tuesday, February 4, 2014, Ken Ham and Bill Nye will hold a public forum and debate on Evolutionary Theory and Biblical Creationism at the Creation Museum outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. Both of these men are brilliant authors, speakers, and leading figures in their respective fields and important proponents of their differing viewpoints. Ken Ham will be arguing for and defending intelligent design in general (and young-earth creationism in particular), while Bill Nye will be arguing for and defending the viewpoint of classical Darwinian evolutionary theory.

We’re pleased to host a special live simulcast of this event at our church at 7:00 pm on Tuesday evening, February 4th. Attendance is completely free of charge, and everyone from our church and community is invited. This will be a great evening discussing important ideas that strike at the heart of what matters most, the origin of the universe, the truth about humanity, and the ultimate meaning of life. We hope you’ll make plans to attend and invite all your friends and family to this special evening of dialogue about science, faith, evolution, creation, and most importantly the God of the Bible.
