  1. Please pray that God uses us for His glory in 2011. 2010 has been an incredible year here at First Baptist Church and I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am about 2011. Lets commit to praying for each other this year, that God would use each one of us to spread the fame of His name in Henryville and in the nations. All of you are a blessing to my life, and I am so thankful that God, in His good pleasure, would allow me to be the under-shepherd of such an incredible flock of sheep. I love you all and look forward to serving the Lord with you in 2011.

More of Him and less of,

  2. Please pray for my friend’s Dad who had a massive stroke on Monday. His name is William Alexander. If he hangs in there he has a long recovery ahead.

  3. Thank you God for the beginning of a new year, please, pray that our goal today and every day will be more about Jesus and a lot less about ourselves. Please, pray for the lost.

  4. Please be in prayer for Paul Martin. He fell and broke his leg and ankle. He is having surgery today. This is Mrs. Ruth Hall’s neighbor.

  5. Be in prayer for Matt and Melanie Martin. I just got a call from Matt that Melanie is at the hospital and is dilated. Matt said they are going to try and wait, but make her stay in the hospital overnight. Sonia and I are going up there and will keep you all informed. Shelly went last night but it was a false alarm. So keep are pregnant women in your prayers, and their babies, and also their babies in their bellies. LOL

  6. Matt and Melanie are home now. Everything is good with the baby and they were able to stop the contractions. Her mom is going to be staying with them. Continue to pray for them. They were so blessed by all the visits and calls from all of you. Matt said this is how a church is supposed to work.

    In Christ,

  7. Greg Comer has battled cancer for almost 7 yrs. The doctors are giving him only days to live. Greg is 41, married & has 2 children, Jacob 11 & Alyssa 7. Jacob has asked his Mom for a special request, for everyone to pray for a miracle for his daddy. He wants a prayer chain across the world. Please pray for Greg and help start this prayer chain across the world for Jacob. Copy & repost to keep prayer chain going
I don’t know Greg. Laura Broady asked that we pray for him.

  8. Pray for Donna Horton. She is being admitted into Clark Memorial with appendicitis.

  9. Please be in prayer for Heather Howell. This is Mrs. Deloris’ daughter who is traveling north to Kankake Illionois through this bad weather tomorrow, so please lift her up in your prayers. Continue to pray for Earl Troncin as well. He is in the hospital but moving to rehab tomorrow. Also pray for Carolyn Anderson who is in the hospital with pneumonia, and Helen Jackson who is in the hospital with a hernia.

    In Christ,
