Grave side services will be at 2:30 in Terre Haute Indiana.

I must say that this was one of the best Vacation Bible Schools I’ve ever been a part of. I mean, the Lord just really blessed and worked through His people. I want to thank all of you for all the hard work. There were so many people tonight that counting them was impossible. The party was truly awesome.
I can’t even explain what it does to my heart to see God’s people doing the work of the ministry. I just want all of you to know that I am so excited to call myself your pastor. I am purposely not mentioning any names, so as not to hurt anyone’s feelings, but I just want all of you to know that you are an incredible group of people. You dressed up, taught, sang, and danced for the glory of God. I stand in awe of those older folks who showed up every night and worked so hard to show the love of Christ to those children. I love you guys. You are an encouragement to me.
We had two adults saved through vacation Bible School. One was saved Friday night and the other was saved tonight. Both of them were helpers the whole week long. That is so awesome!! Not that we had lost people working at VBS, but that God, through the simplicity of the gospel prepared for kids, can bring a grown person to the end of themselves. I wonder if those teachers knew the adults in the room were being drawn to Christ. God is awesome! His Word is powerful! Preach it and it will never return void.

I just wanted to write a quick post letting everyone know how much I love and care for them. This is a very busy time in the life of our church. There are many events going on and I just want to encourage you all not to get so busy that you forget Christ. You need Him now more than ever. It is so easy to get so caught up in doing things for God that you forget Him. Don’t forget to spend time with Him in prayer and in His Word.
You are a sinner that needs constant surgery by the great physician. If you don’t spend time with Him in prayer and reading His Word then you allow sin to cause infection in your life. We can’t serve God with the right hearts if we are not constantly in relationship with Him begging Him to tear sin from our lives. I want to commend you to serve God, but I want to caution you not to forsake Him in the process.
Without Him you can’t do anything!!!!!
Saddle up your horses and get ready to round up the possey for a week of fun in the Lord. We want to invite you to come and be a part of our Vacation Bible School.
Bible School is July 19-24. We will begin every night at 6:00 and go till 8:30. We are going to have a blast. On Sunday, July 24, we are going to have a commencement service at 6:30 p.m. After the commencement service we are going to have a wild, wild, west party behind the church. There will be fun jumps, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs, hamburgers, and games.
