Friday night Allen and Brad invited me to go on the college and career outing. We went to Allen’s favorite restaurant and we listen to Brad’s favorite singer. An Elvis impersonator. We had a blast. No one knew that there was going to be an Elvis impersonator at the restaurant that night. But as you can imagine we had a blast singing and laughing. Just watching an Elvis impersonator is funny, but could you imagine listening to Elvis while sitting at the same table as Brad Jones. I mean, I was in stitches. It was a blessed night of fellowship, and I’m glad I went.
I got up Saturday morning to a big pile of boulders, and you can believe, I was laughing about that. I tried heading up the mulching of the flower beds crew, but Ned beat me to it. Then Mark wouldn’t even think of letting me drive the tractor. I just pray God has mercy on them. In all seriousness, we had a great time of fellowship moving those boulders into the ditch and it looks really good. I want to thank all of you for your hard work.
I hope you had a good Lords day. I know that I was truly blessed today. It is so exciting to see God moving in our congregation. You can feel the love of God, and the fellowship of His Spirit. I can’t wait till next Sunday. Please continue to pray for one another, and continue to pray for the mission trip to India.
